Spurs on 38 points. West Ham on 36. One of them is going down on Sunday. Arsenal celebrate, Pep waves farewell, and the bottom two is still undecided.
This is it. The last day of the Premier League season. Ten games, all kicking off at 4pm on Sunday, and every single one of them matters to somebody.
Arsenal lift the Premier League trophy at Selhurst Park, their first in 22 years.
Pep Guardiola manages his final ever game at the Etihad after a decade that rewrote English football.
Villa arrive in Manchester fresh from winning the Europa League in Istanbul. Brentford are fighting for a European spot.
And at the bottom, Spurs and West Ham are separated by two points with one game left. One of them is going down.
This isn't a weekend of football — it's ten simultaneous finales.
Across Europe, the league seasons are wrapping up too.
Barca are champions in Spain.
Inter have the Scudetto.
Bayern own the Bundesliga.
But the Champions League final — Arsenal vs PSG in Budapest on May 30 — looms over everything.
Arteta will rotate at Selhurst Park.
Guardiola will say goodbye at the Etihad.
And somewhere in north London, a fanbase that has watched Tottenham Hotspur play in the Premier League since its inception in 1992 is wondering if this is the day that streak ends.
Sunday is going to be chaos.
Premier League — Final Day (All games Sunday, May 24, 4pm)
Crystal Palace vs Arsenal
The champions go to Selhurst Park to lift the trophy.
Arteta will rotate heavily, the Champions League final against PSG is six days away and risking Saka, Rice, or Gyokeres on the final day of a league campaign they've already won would be insane.
Palace are 15th and comfortable. This will be a celebration, not a contest.
Odegaard will lift the Premier League trophy in front of the travelling Arsenal fans.
Twenty-two years of waiting, three consecutive runner-up finishes, and finally , finally, it's theirs.
Prediction: Crystal Palace 1-1 Arsenal
Tip: Under 2.5 goals — Arsenal will rest everyone who matters for Budapest.
Manchester City vs Aston Villa
The most emotional game of the day. Pep Guardiola's final match as Manchester City manager.
Ten years. Six Premier League titles. One Champions League.
The greatest era in the club's history, and it ends against Europa League winners Aston Villa at the Etihad.
Bernardo Silva could also be playing his last game.
City won the FA Cup and League Cup this season — Haaland finished with 27 league goals and a third consecutive Golden Boot — but the Premier League belongs to Arsenal. That will sting.
Villa won the Europa League in Istanbul this week, beating Freiburg to secure their first European trophy since 1982 and Champions League qualification.
Emery will rotate — he has to after the exertions of a European final.
But this is a game that transcends the result. The Etihad will be emotional. Guardiola will wave goodbye. City fans will sing his name. And then it's over.
Prediction: Man City 3-1 Aston Villa
Tip: Man City win — the Etihad will demand one final show for Pep. Villa will be running on fumes.
West Ham vs Leeds
This is the game of the final day. West Ham are 18th on 36 points. Spurs are 17th on 38.
West Ham need to better Spurs' result against Everton to survive, and even then, goal difference could come into it.
Leeds are 14th on 47 and safe, but Calvert-Lewin scored the penalty that denied Spurs three points against them on Monday.
He's not going to make it easy for the Hammers either.
Nuno has a fully fit squad but a fully fit West Ham has won just nine games all season.
The London Stadium will be a cauldron of anxiety.
If results elsewhere go against them, this could be the last Premier League game West Ham play for a while.
Leeds have nothing to play for except pride, which makes them dangerous. A team with nothing to lose against a team that has everything to lose.
That combination usually ends badly for the desperate side.
Be honest — can West Ham really win a must-win game at home when the pressure is this high?
Their record when they absolutely need three points has been shocking all season.
Spurs play Everton at the same time.
If Spurs win and West Ham don't, it's over. If both lose, West Ham go down on points. The maths is cruel.
Prediction: West Ham 1-0 Leeds
Tip: West Ham win — desperation and a home crowd will carry them. Just.
Tottenham vs Everton
Spurs are 17th on 38 points. Two points above West Ham.
A win and they're safe regardless of what happens at the London Stadium.
A draw might be enough.
A defeat, combined with a West Ham win, and Tottenham Hotspur are relegated from the Premier League for the first time in the competition's history.
Let that sink in.
Everton are 12th on 49 and have nothing to play for after the emotional farewell to Goodison Park last week.
De Zerbi has picked up eight points from four games since arriving, but Spurs haven't won at home in the league in 2026. Not once.
The lowest home points tally in the division.
Maddison made his return from a 12-month ACL injury against Leeds and could start.
Spurs doing Spurs things would be the most Spurs thing that has ever Spursed.
Prediction: Spurs 2-1 Everton
Tip: Spurs win — they'll find a way because the alternative is unthinkable. Probably.
UPSET SPECIAL: West Ham to lose to Leeds and get relegated. Everyone assumes West Ham will survive because they're at home and the stakes are too high to fail.
But West Ham have won just nine games all season.
They've won twice away and their home form isn't much better. Leeds are safe, fit, and have nothing to lose.
Calvert-Lewin is in the form of his life.
If Spurs beat Everton at the same time and De Zerbi's side have been picking up points consistently, West Ham's 31-year stay in the top flight ends at the London Stadium.
It would be the most dramatic final-day relegation since Sheffield United in 2007.
Liverpool vs Brentford
Liverpool are 5th on 59 points and have already secured Champions League football but Brentford are 9th on 52 and need a win to have any chance of European football.
Igor Thiago has 22 league goals this season and Liverpool have conceded a league-high 20 set-piece goals. Brentford will throw everything at this.
Salah could return, this is his final game at Anfield, so expect tears.
Robertson has already confirmed his departure after nine years.
Liverpool have conceded a league-high 20 goals from set pieces this season.
Brentford live and die by set pieces. This could be painful.
Prediction: Liverpool 2-2 Brentford
Tip: Both teams to score — Brentford need a win and Liverpool's set-piece defending is a disgrace.
Brighton vs Man United
Brighton are 7th on 53 and chasing a European spot. United are 3rd on 68 and safe.
Carrick might rotate with nothing to play for, but Brighton at the Amex are always tough, they beat Newcastle 3-0, Wolves 3-0, and have been one of the best home sides in the league this season.
If Brentford slip up at Anfield, Brighton could leapfrog them into a Conference League spot.
Prediction: Brighton 2-1 Man United
Tip: Brighton win — United have nothing to play for and Brighton are fighting for Europe.
Sunderland vs Chelsea
Sunderland are 10th on 51, Chelsea are 8th on 52. Nothing meaningful at stake for either side.
Chelsea avoided a club-record seventh straight league defeat with that 1-1 draw at Anfield and then beat Spurs 2-1 on Tuesday.
Three managers, one FA Cup final appearance, and a season that will be remembered for all the wrong reasons.
Sunderland at the Stadium of Light with nothing to play for should be a decent enough game for the neutrals.
Prediction: Sunderland 1-1 Chelsea
Tip: Draw — two mid-table sides on the beach.
Nottingham Forest vs Bournemouth
Forest are 16th on 43 and safe. Bournemouth are 6th on 56, their highest ever Premier League tally and guaranteed European football.
Iraola has performed a miracle this season.
Seventeen draws, fewer defeats than City, and a squad that cost a fraction of the top six's wage bill.
Forest had their fun in the Europa League but the league form has been mediocre. Bournemouth should edge this.
Prediction: Forest 1-2 Bournemouth
Tip: Bournemouth win — they'll want to finish on the highest points total in the club's history.
Fulham vs Newcastle
Fulham are 13th on 49, Newcastle 11th on 49. Both safe, both disappointing.
Newcastle's season has been a disaster — 14th for most of the year before a late rally.
Fulham at Craven Cottage on a sunny May afternoon with nothing at stake.
This is the definition of an end-of-season dead rubber.
Prediction: Fulham 1-1 Newcastle
Tip: Under 2.5 goals — neither side has anything to play for.
Burnley vs Wolves
The two relegated sides. Burnley on 21 points, Wolves on 19.
This is a game for the historians and nobody else.
Both clubs will be planning for the Championship next season.
Both squads will be ripped apart in the summer. This is a farewell, not a football match.
Prediction: Burnley 1-1 Wolves
Tip: Under 2.5 goals — two teams with nothing left to give.
BANKER OF THE WEEKEND: Man City to beat Aston Villa. It's Pep's last game at the Etihad.
Villa have just won a Europa League final.
City have Haaland, the Golden Boot winner, leading the line. The Etihad will be packed and emotional.
There is no universe in which City lose this game. None.
Back any of these? Let me know what you're going with this weekend.
