Oh, what a weekend! The Premier League served us all the fun and excitement in the world from the first fixture on Friday to the final fixture on Sunday. Oh, what a weekend!

Leeds United beat Nottingham Forest in a six-pointer at Elland Road. It was indeed a huge win for Daniel Farke and Leeds United, as they now sit three points clear of Forest and six points clear of West Ham.

In that conversation, West Ham moved three points ahead of Forest, which means there's a strong possibility that Nuno Espirito Santo will relegate Nottingham Forest from the Premier League; what an irony that would be.

Burnley and Wolves are destined for the drop. The Clarets lost 2-0 at home to West Ham, while Chelsea beat Wolves 3-1 at Molineux. The relegation conversation is now getting clearer. We might be looking at a Forest-Hammers face-off in the end.

In the top four conversations, Manchester United has completely turned things around. Their solid win over Tottenham means they're now sitting comfortably in fourth, but Chelsea's win over Wolves means the Red Devils must keep going.

Arsenal beat Sunderland cleanly to extend their lead at the top to nine points, albeit for just one day. When Liverpool went ahead, there must have been a deafening delirium in North London before Manchester City turned things around.

Liverpool's home loss to Manchester City has left them rooted to sixth and five points off Manchester United. Arne Slot watched helplessly as two late goals took the result from him. Where do they go from here?

The drama was ecstatic. The free kick that handed the Kops the lead was nothing short of sensational. Dominik Szoboszlai did it against Arsenal; he did it again on Sunday, and we will watch the replays for a long time.

When Bernardo Silva side-footed home off a flick from Erling Haaland, it felt like a draw would be a fair result until Alisson's late moment of madness. The Brazilian goalkeeper hacked down Matheus Nunes, and Haaland made no mistake from the spot.

The drama that followed would be a scene we'll talk about for a long time. With Alisson upfield, chasing the result, Manchester City found themselves through on goal with only the Liverpool goalscorer to beat.

Szoboszlai tugged back Haaland, who was through on goal; Haaland then tugged back the Hungarian as the ball went in. The result: referee Craig Pawson sent Szoboszlai off and awarded a free kick.

Cherki was sad he didn't score, Haaland was sad he didn't get a penalty, and Liverpool was unhappy that their best player was sent off, but the fans must enjoy the drama. This is why we love the Premier League.
