Today, we look at the clubs that have been busy in the transfer window and what they need to get their squad buzzing ahead of the new season.

Newcastle left in the cold by Sesko?

Newcastle United seems destined to lose Alexander Isak this summer, and Manchester United also wants to hijack their Benjamin Sesko dream after submitting a bid for him.

Newcastle needs a striker even if Isak stays after losing Callum Wilson; however, Sesko seems to have chosen United. The latest is that Newcastle is negotiating with AC Milan for Malick Thiaw. Will they finally get someone?

United primed to get Sesko

What is Sesko's ambition? He seems to prefer a move to Manchester United over the prospect of Champions League football at Newcastle. Old dog tax?

United needs help in the defence; all their centre-back options are injury-prone, and to make that worse, they haven't reinforced in the defensive midfield category. Are they about to go into the new season with Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte only?

Chelsea stays winning.

Without a doubt, Chelsea is the team of this summer's transfer window. The Blues have told the likes of Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Jackson to find other clubs, while they have sold the trio of Leslie Ugochukwu, Carney Chukwuemeka, and Dewsbury-Hall.

Xavi Simons is expected to join from Leipzig, and the Blues are still in talks with Manchester United for Alejandro Garnacho. As things stand, the Blues will be genuine title contenders next season.

Quiet City leaves people guessing.

Manchester City has been quiet in the window for weeks now, and apart from Vitor Reis, who is leaving for Girona, all seems calm at the Etihad.

Rodri will be offered a new contract; he will be next to Erling Haaland on the earners' list, but in terms of team structure and depth, do they have what it takes to reclaim their crown? Will the Citizens compete next season?

Is Arsenal complete yet?

This is the first window since forever that you look at Arsenal's window and you have an air of satisfaction; they have plugged their holes and should compete.

The only position you might want to nitpick on is the creative role, where Martin Odegaard plays, and that is why the Ebere Eze chase makes sense; however, Ethan Nwaneri is a great option there too. Is this enough for the Gunners to compete?
