The transfer window will wind down at the end of this month; this means we expect things to happen quickly for some players. However, who are those five players with unresolved futures? Here you go!

Heung Min Son asks to leave Spurs

Tottenham captain Heung Min Son as asked to leave the club after ten years of service which climaxes with the Europa League triumph.

“I have made a decision and it is to leave the club, I did my best and now I want a fresh challenge. I came to this club as a boy and now, I’m leaving as a young man” – Heung Min Son. Word on the street is that his next destination is the MLS, we wait to see what happens next.

As Son walks out, Palhinha walks in

Tottenham has reached a total agreement with Bayern Munich for the signing of Portuguese midfielder Joao Palhinha, and the latter joins on loan with an option to buy for €30m.

Palhinha endured a torrid time at Bayern Munich with little or no playing time under Vincent Kompany, he has passed his Spurs medical and will be announced over the weekend. Palhinha joins a midfield that needs grit and some experience, this is a good move for Spurs.

Chelsea sells Guiu and Broja to fund Ximmons deal

Armando Broja has joined Burnley on a permanent basis from Chelsea, happening at the same time the Blues sold Marc Guiu to Sunderland.

Chelsea is believed to be interested in signing Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United; Dutch playmaker Xavi Simmons is high on the list of Chelsea’s negotiations however, the Blues still want to get rid of Raheem Sterling and Chris Nkunku.

Liverpool to walk away from the Isak chase?

Newcastle rejected Liverpool’s bid of £120m for Swedish striker Alexander Isak, who has been training alone since asking to leave, with the Magpies shutting the door to Isak’s exit until a replacement is found.

Sources close to Liverpool suggest that the Premier League champions will walk away from the deal and focus on other targets, as the Magpies don’t want to sell. Where does this leave Isak? Fans have turned on him, and the club doesn’t want to sell. How will this end?

Arsenal seeks to sell Nelson, Zinchenko, and Gabriel Jesus.

After the impressive signing of six players in his first window as Arsenal’s director of football, Andrea Berta is now working on outgoings from the club.

Reiss Nelson is in talks with Fulham for a permanent move, while Alexander Zinchenko is also said to be in discussion with multiple clubs. Gabriel Jesus is in talks with a couple of Brazilian clubs; any other arrival at Arsenal will be dependent on outgoings.
