Tottenham is getting back to their groove; the injury woes are easing up, and it now seems like Ange Postecoglou's pains are over. Will they heap more misery on Pep Guardiola?

Manchester City lost again at home to Liverpool at the weekend; it was not a surprise even though it was the first time the Reds would get a win over Pep Guardiola at the Etihad since he arrived in England in the Premier League. Everything now seems wrong with the Cityzens.

Tottenham won back-to-back games in the league for the first time in a long while at the weekend with the 4-1 bashing of Ipswich Town. They have a thing for Manchester, so are we making it three on the bounce for Tottenham on Wednesday?

Erling Haaland sat out the home loss to Liverpool due to the injury he sustained in the 4-0 win over Newcastle United. Pep Guardiola confirmed over the weekend that it's not a serious case but more of a precautionary one, so the Norwegian could be available for selection.

The Cityzens played some good football against Liverpool; they dominated the play and created lots of chances but couldn't break down their visitors. Tottenham will certainly give them enough opportunities, but will City take them?

Omar Marmoush got the ball in the back of the net against Liverpool, but he timed his run wrongly as the offside flag halted his celebrations; he will get his chance to impress against Tottenham. The Egyptian is looking like the heir to Mohammed Salah's throne; will he reach the heights of his compatriot?

Tottenham looks to be in a good place; they typically enjoy beating Manchester City, and they did in the reverse fixture with the 4-0 success, kickstarting Manchester City's woeful run; Pep Guardiola's side has now lost more games in a single season than he has ever lost in his managerial career.

After Kevin De Bruyne's substitution in the game against Liverpool, it was clear that it's the end of an era; the Belgian's time at the top for Manchester City is coming to an end, and he most likely won't be at the Etihad next season. Should he have been allowed to go last summer?

Tottenham will attack Manchester City; they will keep a high line, and it will trouble their visitors; however, it will create chances for Manchester City. Does this mean we will have a mega-game on our hands?

Verdict: Tottenham to win.
