Cristiano Ronaldo, a little boy from Madeira, born slightly over twenty years ago, appeared to be a super star, yet his puerility seemed more likely to bring him down than to elevate him.

Through Manchester, Madrid, Turin, Manchester again, and now the rich gulf of Saudi Arabia, not without trips across cities for national pride, we present to you the legend of the real goal machine, nine hundred goals and counting, the legend of Cristiano Ronaldo.

It’s important to walk backward a little bit; David Beckham’s time at Manchester United was over, and Sir Alex Ferguson wanted a young Ronaldinho from PSG.

Barcelona and Real Madrid fought for the signature of Beckham; the England megastar went to Madrid, and the Catalonians settled for Ronaldinho.

Ferguson gambled on a kid playing in Lisbon with no real big name; little did he know he'd be instrumental in giving the whole world a super star who would reign supreme for decades.

Through sheer dedication to the craft, Cristiano Ronaldo joined Manchester United, and the rest is history.

After scoring 118 goals in 293 games at Manchester United, he went on to have a sensational career at Real Madrid, where he scored a staggering 450 goals in just 438 games.

His record move from Manchester United to Madrid one of the most profitable high-profile mega money moves of all time.

After his stellar time at Real Madrid, Ronaldo transitioned to PSG, where he scored 101 goals in just three years, establishing himself as an illustrious son of Turin.

He transitioned from executing a breathtaking overhead kick against them to securing victories for them.

He returned to Manchester United, where it didn’t happen for him as expected, but he added 27 goals to his numbers for the Old Trafford club.

The relationship went south, and the fairytale ending became elusive.

He signed for Saudi Club Al Nassr, and today he has 68 goals and counting on the board.

It’s important to note that Ronaldo has scored nearly half of his 901 goals after he clocked 30; this is a testament to his fitness, discipline, and dedication to the game.

He is the real role model for upcoming stars who want to reach greater heights, but are we ever going to see another like him?

After the emotional goal against Croatia last week Thursday in a UEFA Nations’ League game in Zagreb, the Portuguese added another with what proved to be the winner over Scotland in Lisbon on Sunday, making it 901 goals, his 132nd for the national team.

While many believed he should have retired from the national team a while ago, you don’t teach a man who has achieved so much how to manage his career.

It is now 901 goals and counting; is there anyone stopping this legend anytime soon?
