The Premier League's Game Week 4 has just concluded, with Arsenal once again demonstrating their dominance in North London, while Manchester City continues to dominate everything in their path. We look at the key lessons from a weekend that produced loads of bookings.

Southampton’s “Jesu Oyingbo” sets a new unwanted record.

Following Southampton’s embarrassing home loss to Manchester United on Saturday, Ben Brereton Diaz has set a new record of consecutive appearances in the league without a win.

It’s not a record you want, but Brereton Diaz has now gone eighteen games without a win, having lost the last fourteen at Sheffield United last season and four already this season. What could have happened if Cameron Archer had scored from the spot?

Arsenal rules North London again.

For the third consecutive season, Arsenal has taken the entire spoils at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after a gritty 1-0 win on Sunday.

The Gunners needed a win to stay close to Manchester City, who had won on Saturday, and they had to do it without two of their best players, as Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice both missed the game due to injury and suspension. The win brought Arsenal up to second on the log, two points behind the champions.

Everton to go down?

Everton, who narrowly avoided relegation last season, appears destined for failure this season after blowing a two-goal lead and finishing with nothing.

Everton had led Bournemouth 2-0 with three minutes left on the clock only to lose the game 3-2; they equalled that over the weekend at Aston Villa, losing it late to a sensational John Duran goal. Is Sean Dyche on his way down with this hapless Everton team?

Is the new yellow card law sustainable?

Arsenal’s Declan Rice received a ridiculous red card against Brighton, ruling him out of the North London Derby, and many players were booked for kicking the ball after the whistle had gone this weekend.

In fact, the new restart delay law, which penalizes players who attempt to delay the restart by obstruction or by kicking the ball away, resulted in more yellow cards this past weekend than any other in Premier League history. Is this sustainable?

Arne Slot learnt the difficult way.

Experience the unpredictable nature of the Premier League in a unique way. Nottingham Forest went to Anfield and did the unthinkable; an efficient performance saw them beat Liverpool away from home for the first time since 1969.

You can attribute it to the international break, during which many Liverpool players arrived from all over the world. However, it's important to remember that this is just a learning experience. While it's not yet time to panic, he has demonstrated that teams are capable of sitting deep and causing them harm on the counter, so he faces a challenging situation.
