The first international window of the season is underway, and managers need to evaluate the first three weeks of the new season. The integration period is over, and it’s time to heap points on the board.

It’s early days, but some managers are already under pressure. At the end of game week 3, Everton and Southampton remain the only two teams yet to register a point on the log; having lost all three respective games, their managers are on top of the pressure pot.

You can feel for a side like Ipswich Town; Kieran McKenna had to face Liverpool and Manchester City in his opening three games; he got a breather in the game against Fulham and could have earned maximum points against Fulham last weekend; this excuses him from this unenviable list

Pep Guardiola and Liverpool's new manager, Arne Slot, are still untarnished with three wins from three, but you must give the Kops more praise for their new manager. No problem! They kept three clean sheets while effortlessly dusting off Manchester United in their third game.

Mikel Arteta, Fabian Hurzelar, and Eddie Howe all enjoyed relative success in their opening three games. The Seagulls are third on the log having scored more goals than Arsenal. Both sides played out a 1-1 draw at the Emirates last weekend, but Arteta would nurse hurts for Chris Kavanagh and his officiating.

Thomas Frank, Unai Emery, and Andoni Iraiola have all started relatively well; the Bees lost Ivan Toney to the Saudi Professional League, but Bryan Mbeumo and Yoann Wissa have both stepped up; two wins from three means they’re in a good place, and you can say the same for Aston Villa under Emery.

Who are the managers under the spotlight? Martin Russell of Southampton is under immense pressure. After failing to secure any points against a ten-man Newcastle team on the opening day and suffering two consecutive defeats both at home and away against Forest and Brentford, Martin Russel of Southampton is under extreme pressure to make immediate improvements.

The Premier League is unforgiving; up next for the Saints is a home game against Manchester United. The Red Devils must win the game to avoid an early crisis, and the Saints must earn something to avoid an unwanted record. It’s a tough one, but they play Ipswich and Bournemouth after hosting United.

Speaking of United, Omar Berradda, the director of football, has publicly backed the manager despite the embarrassing home loss to Liverpool; however, with Ruud Van Nistelrooy on the bench, expect Erik Ten Hag to lose his job if results don't improve.

Everton has become accustomed to the drop zone, but does the club hierarchy desire this for their team? How do you even lead by two goals going into the final four minutes of a game and still manage to lose it 3-2? Everton has lost all three games, two of them at home. Sean Dyche is on the pressure pot; things must change or his head will roll.
