Premier League football is back after a short break for FA Cup and League Cup engagements and Chelsea, fresh off their transfer window trophy dash will have the opportunity of showing off their new collections when the Lilywhites come to town on Friday night.

It’s a London Derby, one Chelsea must win to halt the rot and prove they’re not all about the money they’re spending for next season but also looking to finish in European places to make sure their stars don’t regret joining.

Fulham is punching way above weights this season.

Fulham will once again sweat on the fitness of Aleksander Mitrovic while Carlos Vinicius can deputize should the Serbian be unavailable. 

Sasa Lukic joined from Torino and a loan signing from Arsenal, Cedric Soares can walk straight into the team.

Chelsea must win, there are no two ways about it and they must also play attractive football to save their manager with most believing he’s only in charge for a while following the huge money spent.

Is a marquee manager in the offing?

The weekend is loaded with interesting fixtures, the second half of the season where men are separated from boys.
