Manchester City are on the verge of winning the Premier League title on Sunday after a 2-0 win at dogged Crystal Palace.

Manchester City will win a third Premier League title in four seasons if rival Manchester United lose at home to Liverpool.

After lacklustre first half at Selhurst Park, Sergio Aguero put City ahead with a powerful strike before Ferran Torres made it two with a low drive.

The home side came close to scoring in the first half as Christian Benteke headed wide before city goalkeeper Emerson blocked his close-range effort.

But City opened the scoring when Aguero controlled and blasted into the roof of the net, then Ferran Torres pinpoint strike guaranteed a City win.

It is now a matter of time for Pep Guardiola's side to be crowned champions again after giving up the crown to Liverpool last season.
