The transfer window will wind down at the end of this month; this means we expect things to happen quickly for some players. However, who are those five players with unresolved futures? Here you go!

Where will Rodrygo end up?

Real Madrid appears calm over the situation of Brazilian winger Rodrygo, but as the players return from extended holiday following their participation in the Club World Cup, things should take shape soon.

Arsenal was thought to be the favourite to land the Brazilian earlier in the window, but that has cooled despite sources claiming the Gunners are waiting to sell to accommodate him; however, Liverpool’s chase for Alexander Isak could also mean the Kops won’t be in for him. Where will Rodrygo end up?

Is Alexander Isak to end up at Liverpool?

Nothing has changed for Alexander Arnold; reports emerged on Thursday that the Swede is now training with his former club, Real Sociedad, after refusing to travel with Newcastle.

Liverpool is prepared to pay whatever Newcastle is asking for him, but the Magpies have not said anything in that regard. No one else is in for the Swedish striker, so it’s Liverpool or bust. He is already an enemy of the Newcastle fan base; he must leave.

The Garnacho conundrum rumbles on.

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has come out to say he is willing to reintegrate Alexander Garnacho and the other fringe players into the first team if no suitors come,, but will that be easy?

The Argentine winger has thrown tantrums and declared he wants to leave the club; however, with United holding out for a ridiculously high transfer fee, only Chelsea was discussing a possibility of taking him, but the Blues have moved on to Xavi Simmons. Where will Garnacho end up?

Darwin Nunez finds himself in a challenging position.

Liverpool will have to sell Darwin Nunez if they land Isak; despite reports saying their finances are good enough to accommodate them all, playing time will be an issue, and Nunez will be the one to suffer.

The Uruguayan has fallen off with his bad misses, and with the club aiming to defend their league title, going in with a striker with confidence issues won’t help that cause. Napoli was interested; that has cooled, and the Saudi consortium seems to be considering other options. What will happen to Nunuz?

Jack Grealish waiting in the wings at City

Manchester City left Jack Grealish out of their preseason plans, and that means only one thing: the player they bought for a record £100m is now surplus to requirements. What's next for Grealish?

No one is considering the move; he is perceived as a luxury player who is a backup at best. Manchester City is not a broke club; they can afford to keep him on the bench if no one meets their valuation of him, but is the England playmaker happy to sit out games with the World Cup coming next year?
