The international break is here, and while many of us aren’t particularly enthused, we'll still bring you top news from everywhere across the globe... Are you ready for it?

Are these players honest?

Shortly after helping Manchester United beat Fulham in the FA Cup on Sunday, Marcus Rashford pulled out of the England games, and that was the first of many pullouts.

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has also pulled out of Nigeria’s double header against Guinea Bissau.

The lanky striker helped Napoli past Torino over the weekend.

Erling Haaland has also announced he’s pulling out of Norway’s games. Are these players being honest?

Kylian Mbappe is the new Le Bleus captain

Hugo Lloris will retire after the 2022 FIFA World Cup, so Didier Deschamps, the head coach of the France national team, has said that Kylian Mbappe will take over as captain of the national team starting with their important qualifier on Friday.

Mbappe already wore the armband once in the game against Denmark last September.

The golden boot winner at the last World Cup will be one of the youngest players ever to wear the armband for France, and he will be deputised by Antoine Griezmann.

Mitrovic to face further charges

Referee Chris Kavanagh wrote about the fight that broke out after Willian was sent off in Fulham's FA Cup loss to Manchester United on Sunday.

This means that Aleksander Mitrovic will face more charges because of it.

Bruno Fernandes committed the same crime in United’s embarrassing evening at Anfield and didn’t even get a yellow card.

Does this bring to mind the inconsistencies of Premier League officials?

How does it count as punishment for one and clapping for the other?
