The FA Cup resumed on Friday with Arsenal's away loss to Manchester City, and on Saturday, many more entered, and we look at a few of them, particularly those involving Premier League teams..

The challenges of the Foxes came to the fore again as Leicester City made what looked like an easy afternoon look like a hard one.

Youri Tielemans missed a second half penalty after Brendan Rodgers largely dominated the first.

Senior Man Kelz—Kelechi Iheanacho came off the bench to score the only goal of the game.

Patrick Bamford got a rare start, and the England striker proved his worth with two assists to help Leeds United to the next round away at Accrington Stanley.

Jack Harrison, Junior Firpo, and Luis Sinisterra got on the score sheet for the Premier League club.

Fulham's Marco Silva had a difficult time at Craven Cottage against Sunderland after the Black Cats took a shock lead in the first five minutes.

Aleksandr Mitrovic was rested, but he came off the bench in the second half.

Fulham levelled on the hour mark through Tom Carney and would now play a second leg away at the Stadium of Light after a 1-1 full-time scoreline.

Roman Perraud scored twice to help Southampton beat Blackpool.

Arsenal’s on-loan Charlie Patino halved the deficit, but the Premier League strugglers held on for a precious win.

Burnley will have to do it again, and this time at Turf Moor, after settling for a goalless draw away at Ipswich.

Tottenham rested Harry Kane

Heung Min Son lead the line against Preston North End in the FA Cup tie, and the first half was such a bore fest.

The South Korean forward scored twice in the second half, and new loan signing Arnaut Danjuma added the third late on.

Manchester United bounced back from their weekend loss to Arsenal in the Premier League with a 3-1 win over Reading in the final game of the Saturday fixtures.

Marcus Rashford had a goal disallowed in the first half for Wout Werghorst’s offside.

Brazilian midfield maestro Casemiro scored twice in three minutes not long after the restart, and second-half substitute Fred added the third to confirm United’s progress in the FA Cup.

Former Newcastle striker Andy Carroll saw red in the game, and Amadou Mbengue scored a consolation goal for the visitors.
