It’s that time of the season where everyone monitors breaking news and player movements, we bring to you the peak of the bunch as team try to bolster their squad ahead of the new season.

Barcelona set to sign Lewandowski, Raphinha

We can confirm that Barcelona have activated their second financial lever which means they now have enough money to spend on player acquisitions and on that note, they have submitted a bid believed to be enough to rival Chelsea for Raphinha.

Barcelona will also sign Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich and probably cushion some effects with the sale of Dutchman Frenkie De Jong… Exciting times ahead at the Camp Nou again.

Chelsea to get Koulibaly?

Napoli may have gotten new pairs of captain’s armbands for Khalidou Koulibaly but Chelsea will bid for the Senegalese in the coming days as the team continues to wait on reinforcements.

Chelsea want Nathan Ake to return to the Stamford Bridge and Manchester City will request for nothing less than £45m and while Chelsea will gladly pay, the question would be to ask if the player wants the move but one thing is certain, Chelsea must sign two defenders.

Jack Wilshere retires, rejoins Arsenal as coach

Former Arsenal youth sensation Jack Wilshere has retired from football at the age of 30 and has resumed immediately as coach of the U18s following a not too successful spell in the lower tier of Danish football.

Wilshere set the premier league ablaze with sensational displays for Arsenal as a kid but his career was blighted by injuries and fitness problems. The next chapter is here for him and we can only wish him luck.

Bayern to invest Lewandowski money in De Ligt

Mathjis De Ligt has made it clear that he doesn’t want Chelsea and will only hold out for a move to Bayern Munich which quite interests the German side as the feeling is mutual.

Bayern Munich needs a strong and high profile central defender and they will welcome the idea of the Dutchman in their squad for the new season. Juventus will ask for £75m which Bayern can structure to make it happen.

Rodrigo extends with City

Manchester City continue to win in the current window with yet another announcement of player signing or extension with Spanish midfielder Rodrigo extending his City contract by a further two years.

Rodri joined City last summer and has since shown why the club invested heavily on him with solid displays and sensational, yet timely goals that helped the champions to yet another league title. Rodrigo has extended till 2027 at least.
