Both teams had to dig deep to qualify for the quarterfinals with resilient performances against defending champion Cameroon and hosts Egypt, respectively.
Bafana Bafana have played the Super Eagles 11 times and the South Africans have only won once, while Nigeria have six wins with four draws between both teams.
Nigeria are the favourites to win the tie tomorrow as they have a more potent attack scoring five goals compared to South Africa who have struggled to score goals in this tournament, with just two so far.
