Jose Mourinho: Untouchable Lukaku deserves respect from Man Utd fans

In the last couple of days, Jose Mourinho have been criticizing some set of fans that booed Romelu Lukaku in their game against Tottenham.

The Portuguese manager is not happy with the fans treatment of his star striker who as scored 11 goals in his first 10 games for the Old Trafford side.

"What he does for the team is fantastic and to play football for a striker is not just about scoring goals," said the Manchester United manager.

"I think Romelu is one of the players who should be untouchable in terms of respect from everyone."

Despite not getting on the score sheet against Tottenham, Romelu Lukaku set up Martial for the only goal of the match.

"For me, he is untouchable in my team and I think he should be untouchable in the support and the respect he deserves from the fans," Mourinho added.
