Premier League Review: Arsenal dominates Chelsea again, is Arbeloa in danger?

EPL GW3 review: Arsenal and City stay perfect, Hull still goalless conceded, plus United draw and Palace’s late win.

Just like that, the third week of the Premier League is over. Arsenal and Manchester City are the only teams with a 100% record, while Hull City remains the only club in the league that is yet to concede a goal this season.

Those are great records to envy, but the duo of Coventry City and Fulham are at the wrong end of the records, with both clubs yet to register a point this season, having lost their opening three games of the new season.

It's too early to talk about the title, but we already know the teams that will be in the mix by May. Manchester City is still a work in progress with their hard-fought win over Coventry City, but you can see what Enzo Maresca is building; he has an idea, and with time, it will work out.

There's no surprise with what Arsenal did to Chelsea on Sunday. Despite the Blues scoring first, you could tell that the evening wasn't over. Ezri Konsa came to the party with a point to prove, limiting the Chelsea forwards to shots from outside.

Arsenal didn't only manage the game well; the Gunners managed the Blues effectively. The frightening Chelsea attack was stifled, and if Chelsea had someone else in goal, Arsenal would have buried them as early as the first half.

Manchester United failed to close out the game after losing their lead twice. Everton labored to a well-deserved 2-2 draw. The manner in which United surrendered their leads must worry Michael Carrick, and with Champions League football coming to Old Trafford, the worst might not be over for the Red Devils.

Liverpool played pretty well against the Tractor Boys, but there were moments when they didn't have the game locked down. Things will improve with time, but you wonder whether the former champions have the depth to go all the way across all competitions.

Elsewhere at the weekend, Brentford continues to defy logic after another impressive point against Sunderland. Keith Andrews must be gutted that his side couldn't see out the win, but they live to fight another day.

The best of the weekend must be Crystal Palace coming from behind to beat Fulham 3-2. Álvaro Arbeloa must be thinking of the worst after losing his opening three games. Will the Lilywhites find joy in their next game?

Aston Villa and Tottenham both settled for stalemates in their respective games. Villa's goalless draw against Hull City showed some promise, but the problems persist after the mass exodus they suffered. Zion Suzuki in goal, however, brings joy to the Villa fans.

Despite Tottenham's investment this season, the goalless draw against Nottingham Forest didn't impress anyone. Roberto De Zerbi could be living on thin ice, and he must claw things back before it becomes a big mentality problem.
