Former Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo has announced that the 2026/2027 season will be his last as a professional footballer. What a career he's had.

After a colorless World Cup campaign with Portugal, all eyes were on Ronaldo as he hinted he was leaving the national team; now the Al-Nassr star has confirmed he will step away from the game at the end of the new season.

“I have many things that will keep me busy, to the point that it’s difficult to tell you just one thing. I have just planned it all." “When football is gone, it can leave a big void, and you have to fill your time with different things planned… not just one thing."

Away from Cristiano Ronaldo, another big news item to keep an eye on is that of Harry Kane's contract at Bayern Munich. The England striker expects talks to start, as he has only one year left on his current contract. Is the big striker leaving German football?
