Man United Tielemans Transfer – Villa And Liverpool Latest

Man United close in on Tielemans, Villa hijack Manzambi from Newcastle, and Iraola demands more at Liverpool.

Following reports that Manchester United's pursuit of Brazilian midfielder Ederson has collapsed, news has emerged that the club has acquired Aston Villa star Youri Tielemans.

The Belgian midfielder has a €41m release clause in his contract, which has now been triggered by Manchester United.

Andrey Santos joined from Chelsea last week; the Red Devils have now added Tielemans to their midfield rank.

How strong will United be with these reinforcements next season?

Casemiro left the club after his contract expired, and Uruguayan midfielder Manuel Ugarte has torn his anterior cruciate ligament, which means he won't be available until March next year at the earliest.

With Kobbie Mainoo already established, Michael Carrick now has a formidable midfield to start the new season.

How will Aston Villa cope without Tielemans?

Unai Emery's side has agreed on fees and terms with Swiss World Cup sensation Johan Manzambi.

Villa will pay Freiburg a little more than €60m for the youngster who shone brightly for Switzerland at the World Cup.

Where does that leave Villa midfield?

Boubacar Kamara is working his way back to full fitness. Amadou Onana might not be available for the start of the season, but the Belgian should be available to help after the first international break.

Ross Barkley, Emi Buendia, and Douglas Luiz are all available to help club captain John McGinn as the club heads into the Champions League after winning the Europa League last season.

We expect Aston Villa to return to the market as they launch attacks on four fronts next season.

Andoni Iraiola has confirmed that Liverpool will add more firepower to the team after the club announced two arrivals.

Notably, the void left by Mohammed Salah, Ibrahima Konate, and Andy Robertson must be adequately filled if the former champions want to compete in the new season.

Midfield reinforcements are important for Liverpool.

The poor form of Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister last season haunted the Reds badly.

Dominik Szoboszlai was the leading light in the Liverpool midfield last season. Whenever he doesn't find his spark, the club struggles.

A proper DM, a proven central defender, a great winger, and two fullback covers are what Liverpool needs this summer.

Failure to fix these problems will only lead them to another season of frustration.

The ball is in their court as the window continues to buzz with activities.
