We started in August, asking questions every weekend and wondering where points would be won and lost. This is the grand finale of the English Premier League.

It's an emotional farewell. From the Emirates, where the champions live, to the Etihad, where significant changes are underway. To Anfield, where the former champions are wondering what went wrong, and to Villa Park, where the European trophy is on the table again.

Tribute to Old Trafford, where fans endured a torrid first half of the season, before enjoying glory in the second half under Michael Carrick. A season that started with Ruben Amorim was going like the previous one, before the owners booted out the Portuguese. Aren't they better for it?

We must travel to Stamford Bridge Stadium. It's a lot of pain for them on many grounds. The Blues underachieved, and they could well miss out on Europe altogether if results go against them on Sunday. Cole Palmer missing out on the World Cup is another sad development for Chelsea fans. It's a season to forget for many reasons.

There's joy at the G-Tech Stadium. Who would have thought that a P.E. teacher would be on the brink of European football? They lost their manager, lost their goal suppliers, and even lost their captain. Keith Andrews should be up there as a top manager this season.

We can't leave out the Amex, where Fabian Hurzelar halted the rot and strung wins together. Brighton back in Europe? Who says no? The final day could still bring greater joy for the Seagulls. This is why we love the Premier League.

The Vitality Stadium became a dreaded ground. It became a coronation ground, with Eli Junior Kroupi writing his name in the great book of Premier League folklore. The goal he scored against Manchester City last week crowned Arsenal champions. They will never forget his name.

There's the Stadium of Light, where Sunderland didn't taste defeat until the second half of the season. The Black Cats could still make Europe from all permutations; what a wonderful season that would be for Regis Le Bris and the rest of the Sunderland family.

There were so many struggles at St. James's Park. Newcastle fans never knew what to expect all season. They will close shop on Sunday and head into the summer transfer, where they will try again for some real winners. They must also be prepared to lose some stars.

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium only saw two wins out of 18 games. How horrible can you be in front of your own fans? They can still get relegated if they don't pick up any points at home against Everton. How did Spurs get this bad?

It's over for everyone at Turf Moor and Molineux. It's a fitting finale to see the two of them going head-to-head in the final game of the season. Handbrakes off for both of them; can we at least see some good football?

The London Stadium is beautiful, but if they don't win against Leeds at home, while hoping Tottenham loses at home again, they will be in the Championship next season with their beautiful stadium.

This is not goodbye; it's a pause as we usher in the FIFA World Cup. We still have European qualifications to sort out in the league, as well as a small matter of who goes down between Tottenham and West Ham. See you all next season.
