It's probably the worst-kept secret in world football, but Pep Guardiola has announced that he will step down from his role at Manchester City at the end of the season.

Manchester City missed out on the Premier League title for back-to-back seasons after failing to beat Bournemouth on Tuesday. The 1-1 result at the Vitality Stadium means that Arsenal would be crowned champions on Sunday regardless of the outcome of their game against Crystal Palace.

Guardiola will exit the Premier League after winning six Premier League titles, 3 FA Cup trophies, 5 League Cup trophies, the UEFA Champions League, and the Club World Cup trophy. With 20 trophies in total, is Guardiola the best manager ever in the Premier League?

"Don't ask me the reasons I'm leaving," he said. "There is no reason, but deep inside, I know it's my time. Nothing is eternal; if it were, I would be here. Eternal will be the feeling, the people, the memories, and the love I have for my Manchester City.
