Arguably, this is the biggest fixture in Europe this weekend. It is the title decider in the Premier League. Manchester City is chasing down Arsenal. This is the fixture that decides where the Premier League title will be lifted in May.

Arsenal holds a six-point advantage over Man City, having played a game more.

The home loss to Bournemouth last weekend handed Man City a lifeline. A win over the Gunners on Sunday means they cut the deficit to three points with a game in hand against Burnley in midweek.

Mikel Arteta claims he's privileged to be in this position, where his former master is the one chasing him, but after the investment made in the squad in the summer and the patience the board exercised with him, he cannot afford not to win the title this weekend.

Pep Guardiola is in a confident mood.

The Spaniard insists his side will win the title this season despite being written off at some points earlier in the year.

Should Arsenal throw this away at this stage, the place of Mikel Arteta in the dugout will be seriously under scrutiny.

Guardiola clinically dispatched Arsenal in the Carabao Cup final. Experience continues to help Guardiola over Arteta; however, Mikel Arteta hasn't lost to Man City in the league since the 2022/2023 season.

The hosts will be without John Stones, Josko Gvardiol, and Ruben Dias, but they didn't have any of the trio when they beat Arsenal in the League Cup final.

Everyone else is available for the game from the Blue side; Arsenal must be worried.

A host of players are unavailable for Arsenal.

Bukayo Saka is ruled out, but he was absent on the two occasions where Arsenal beat City in the last two seasons.

Jurrien Timber is the biggest of the worries for the Gunners.

Martin Odegaard and Noni Madueke are both big doubts, leaving Arsenal with only 16-year-old Max Downman as the only available right winger.

Arteta won't have many excuses; there's a reason he spent heavily in the summer.

Erling Haaland has been vocal in the media. The big Norwegian scored City's only goal in the reverse fixture earlier in the season.

Declan Rice has spoken highly of Arsenal's readiness for this game. Are we about to see real fire?

Antoine Semenyo and Rayan Cherki will be immense for the hosts.

Arsenal must find ways to stop the duo from creating problems in the final third.

Whoever wins this game goes on to win the title. A draw tilts it towards Arsenal.

Verdict: Manchester City to win.
