Except you're an Arsenal fan, the Premier League table is shaping up to excite lovers of the beautiful game, with Arsenal losing their hold on the title, but this is about the fixture on Monday night.

Manchester United fans would rue their early-season form, where they dropped too many points for comfort. You can argue that the title race should have included the Red Devils if they had a better man at the helm early on.

Leeds United fans will be happy to see Tottenham join the relegation fight fully after Sunderland beat Spurs on Roberto De Zerbi's debut. The Black Cats condemned Spurs to the relegation zone for the first time since 2009.

With only three points separating Leeds United and the relegation zone, Daniel Farke and his lads need to take things seriously at this stage, with only six games remaining after the trip to Old Trafford.

Michael Carrick and Manchester United know that they can go three points clear of Aston Villa in the race for third. The task is simple: beat Leeds United and put yourself in the best position to finish behind the two title contenders.

After Arsenal beat Sporting Lisbon away from home last week, the Premier League confirmed an additional spot in the Champions League, meaning the fifth-placed team is guaranteed to feature in Europe's elite competition next season.

Michael Carrick confirmed that Lisandro Martinez is available to face Leeds while Harry Maguire serves his ban following the red card he got against Bournemouth. Everyone else is available for selection, barring Patrick Dorgu and Matthijs de Ligt, who are both long-term absentees.

Anton Stach, Daniel James, Joe Rodon, and Gabriel Gudmundsson are all doubts for Leeds United. Noah Okafor will face a late fitness test, but Daniel Farke confirmed that Dominic Calvert-Lewin is fit to start.

A draw is not a bad result for either side; however, both must fight for consistency and momentum as they hit the run-in. The ultimate goal for Manchester United is to finish in Champions League qualifying places, while safety remains the goal for Leeds United.

United will set up to soak up pressure and counter their visitors. What would be interesting is that Leeds also thrives on counterattacks. It's a game that will interest lots of neutrals.

Verdict: Manchester United to win.
