It’s a total football day in the Premier League, from the lunchtime kickoff till late night, we will be enjoying lots of football from the English Premier League.

While Everton seeks to continue their good home form against the Gunners on Saturday night, Leeds United will also seek to build on their good run as they host Crystal Palace at Elland Road, we’re spoilt for choice and we’re not complaining.

Arsenal’s form needs help. By the time they kick off at Everton’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium, they’re expected to be second on the log as Manchester City must have beaten West Ham, it would be a great opportunity for the Gunners to respond.

Everton’s form at home is great, they have only lost once at home while Arsenal hasn’t won any of their last three on the road. Last season, Everton forced Arsenal to stalemates in the two legs, a repeat of that would be quite heroic for David Moyes’ men.

A win for Everton in this fixture could see them move up to fifth on the log. Everton’s manager, David Moyes has spoken about how he sees his side in Europe, he’s been there with West Ham, why can’t he do the same with the Toffees?

Arsenal is still favorite to win the title regardless of the pressure from Manchester City and Aston Villa. The Gunners have only lost twice this season and they have been ravaged by injuries. This is one fixture they must win to underline their title credentials.

Incidentally, Mikel Arteta is celebrating the sixth anniversary of his appointment at Arsenal, Everton was the first fixture then, even though he watched the stalemate from the stands before taking to the dugout the following weekend and guess who he faced, Bournemouth, the same team he faces next.

How will they line up? The hosts will be without Ilman Ndiaye who is off to AFCON as well as Idrissa Gana Gueye. Kiernan Dewsbury Hall has been in inspired form however, the Chelsea loanee is injured and not expected to feature for this one.

Ben White has joined the Arsenal injury list, this means Jurien Timber is expected to return to right back while Piero Hincapie takes to the center. Viktor Gyokeres is yet to shine for Arsenal, is this a fixture he’ll thrive in? Who steps up for Everton in the absence of Ndiaye? And does Everton have what it takes to stop Bukayo Saka?

Verdict: Arsenal to win.
