It’s the weekend again, another excellent opportunity for us to look at key questions that are begging for answers in the Premier League.

From the front runners and their quests for consistency to the teams in the middle, who seek the right balance, and the lots at the foot of the log who must win or accept the cold embrace of the Championship League next season.

We start with the fixture that looks like the most important one at the foot of the log. You have a sense of doom around Wolves, but their biggest fans would hope that a win at home against Brentford could be the turning point. Is there something there?

Almost everyone has beaten Wolves this season, and the Bees would hope to join the party; however, after their brave performance against Arsenal last weekend, do you think Wolves can finally win a game this season? This is a relegation six-pointer; we can’t wait.

Tottenham and Liverpool both have their issues, but a win on Saturday for either of them represents massive growth and a huge confidence booster. Both facing each other at the Tottenham Stadium is arguably the fixture of the weekend on paper; what should we expect?

Liverpool could return to the top four with a win here, which shows how crazy it is in the Premier League this season, while Tottenham’s recent slump has seen them in the second page of the log. A win here could do them a world of good, so which of them will come to the party?

For the title race, Arsenal is away at Everton. The Gunners cannot afford to play the same way they did against Wolves; they could be second by the time they kick off at the new Hill Dickson Stadium on Saturday, with City at home to West Ham earlier. Will the Gunners respond?

Speaking of Manchester City, you can sense it, you can feel it; the Cityzens are ready for the challenge, and they’re gradually creating goals from elsewhere, so the overreliance on Erling Haaland could be a forgotten issue. Will City usurp the Gunners this weekend?

Finally, Aston Villa has an outside chance of challenging for the title; we don’t think they have enough to stay toe-to-toe with the leaders till the end, but if they beat Manchester United at the weekend, you wonder if that’s enough signal to prove their credentials. Let the weekend begin!
