Results across grounds in the Premier League on Sunday show exactly why we love this league; it was unprecedented and entertaining, setting up either Arsenal or Tottenham to take advantage.

This is one interesting game, as it pitches the best home side against the best away side. Also, Arsenal has scored the most set-piece goals; they host Spurs, who have conceded the least set-piece goals. We’re so ready for this one at the Emirates.

Both clubs went into the break on the back of heartbreaking last-minute goals. Tottenham led late against Manchester United before conceding from a corner quite deep into the game, while Brobbey sent a flying kick to level against Arsenal for Sunderland in the 96th minute in a 2-2 draw.

Arsenal’s lead going into the weekend was four points over Manchester City; however, the Cityzens lost at Newcastle, but Chelsea won at Burnley. This means the Blues are now three points off the Gunners, and only a win would earn Arsenal another strong advantage over the chasing pack.

Liverpool lost at home to Nottingham Forest; this means that the Gunners could be seven clear of Manchester City and eleven clear of the champions. It is imperative for the Gunners to do what they enjoy doing, which is beating Spurs.

Tottenham could move up to fourth should they find a way past Arsenal at the Emirates; it’s not something they’ve been able to achieve in recent seasons. However, they need every encouragement they can find to prosecute this one.

Both sides have Champions League football in midweek, with Arsenal hosting Bayern Munich while Tottenham will face PSG in France. The focus for both sides is the game on Sunday; it is the latest North London Derby. Who will take this one?

Arsenal will be without their strong defender Gabriel Magalhães, but a few new faces could return from the injury list, with Noni Madueke, Viktor Gyokeres and Kai Havertz all in contention for a possible return. It’s up to Piero Hincapie and Christian Mosquera to step up in the absence of Big Gabi.

For Spurs, the trio of Pape Matar Sarr, Mohammed Kudus and Christian Romero have all been passed fit for this game; they must be wary of Arsenal’s set pieces and through-the-line passes. This could also be the game in which we see Martin Odegaard again; this will be fun to watch.

Verdict: Arsenal to win.
