The Club World Cup continues with Chelsea and Fluminense booking their respective places in the tournament’s last four, while Real Madrid, PSG, BVB, and Bayern fight for the remaining two slots. However, this is about the transfer window: who is moving, and who is staying? Here you go!

Burnley signs Kyle Walker.

Stranger things have happened, but Kyle Walker, not Kyle Walker Peter, the Manchester City defender, has signed for Burnley; we mean the newly promoted Burnley.

After his relationship with Pep Guardiola broke down, Kyle Walker went to AC Milan on loan but couldn’t inspire the Rossoneri to greatness; the Burnley deal could be worth up to £5m if he plays up to 70% of the Cherries’ games.

Nico Williams snubs Barcelona, signs new deal with Bilbao

Barcelona has been left fuming after Spain international Nico Williams reneged on the agreement he struck with them to sign a new deal with Athletic Bilbao.

Barcelona has assured Nico of their decision to sign him, but the player claims the Catalonians couldn’t guarantee him registration due to their financial woes. Barcelona has now shut future doors on the winger, who seems to prefer to stay in Spain rather than to travel abroad.

Barcelona lines up. Luis Diaz and Rashford

After the Nico Williams rejection, Barcelona now wants Liverpool’s Luis Diaz or Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford, with the latter eager to make the deal.

After the Diogo Jota incident, it’s hard to see how Liverpool will allow Luis Diaz to leave the club, but Rashford wants the Barca move after Ruben Amorim told him to find another club, and a fee of £40m could be enough to see Rashford leave Old Trafford.

Garnacho and Antony confirm United exit.

Argentine youngster Alejandro Garnacho and Brazilian winger Antony have both confirmed they will not return to Manchester United for preseason, as they want out of the club.

Garnacho wants to stay in the league and has communicated this to the United hierarchy, while Antony enjoyed his loan spell at Real Betis and would love to stay there; however, his wages would be a major stumbling block.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin to Atletico?

Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid has been offered the chance to sign Dominic Calvert-Lewin after his contract with the Toffees expired a few days ago.

Atletico Madrid has Alexander Sorloth and Julian Alvarez, and considering how they play with a focal point, Calvert-Lewin could suit their style; however, does he have the physicality for the league? Can he stay fit for the La Liga challenge?
