As things continue to heat up in the transfer window, we take a look at some of the hot topics, from Arsenal's Gyokeres breakthrough to Real Madrid's Rodrygo conundrum. Here you go.

Arsenal agrees to terms with Gyokeres.

Following Viktor Gyokeres' decision to call out Sporting Lisbon's chairman over his transfer issues, the Portuguese club is now negotiating the striker's exit.

Arsenal's sporting director, Andrea Berta, has successfully brokered a deal with Sporting Lisbon and is expected to return to London with the Swedish striker, who could join the Gunners this week.

Trossard and Martinelli to leave Arsenal?

There's a growing belief among the Arsenal ranks that the Gunners could still get Rodrygo in this window; this would impact players like Gabriel Martinelli and Trossard.

Saudi clubs are reportedly tailing the two wingers, with one of them said to be willing to pay as much as £75m for Martinelli. This potential inflow will help the Gunners bag Rodrygo if Real Madrid were to sell.

Wilson leaves Newcastle, and Aina extends at Forest.

It's a tale of opposite ends for England striker Callum Wilson and Nigerian defender Ola Aina, with Wilson leaving Newcastle and Aina extending with Nottingham Forest.

After the expiration of his contract, Wilson has left Newcastle to become a free agent, while Ola Aina has penned a new three-year deal that takes him to 2030 at the City Ground. Where does the 33-year-old Wilson go next?

Palace set sights on Davide Calabria.

AC Milan won't renew the contract of Italian defender Davide Calabria despite his impressive spell on loan at Bologna.

Crystal Palace is prepared to lose Marc Guehi this summer, and with Calabria able to play in a number of positions, the Eagles are interested in signing the Italian, as he comes cheap with lots of experience.

PSG joins the Rodrygo chase.

Arsenal is interested in Rodrygo, but they're not the only ones, as PSG has asked for the conditions to sign the Brazilian.

It is left to be seen how they plan to manage a squad that already has the quartet of Kvicha Kvaratshkelia, Bradley Barcola, Ousman Dembele, and Desire Doue. How will Luis Henrique keep them all happy?
