It’s that time of the season. Nope, we’re not talking about the Champions League final; that can wait till Saturday. We’re talking about the rumour mill and all the speculations about transfers. The transfer window officially opens on the 1st of June, but what deals do we expect to cross the line first?

Bruno Fernandes to jump ship?

Word on the street is that the Saudi consortium has met with the Bruno Fernandes camp over a mega transfer that could do lots of good for Manchester United’s PSR situation.

Reports firmly believe the Saudi firm has offered Bruno a salary of £200m a year, and United will get £100m in transfer fees for their club captain. It’s a big conundrum for United considering how huge the Portuguese is for them, but for a 30-year-old, will they say no?

Napoli set to seal KDB deal

After confirming the extension of Antonio Conte in the dugout, Napoli now wants to quickly wrap up the transfer of Kevin De Bruyne, who becomes a free agent in two days.

De Bruyne announced his departure from Manchester City already and is not expected to partake in the new-look Club World Cup; Italian champions Napoli already tabled an offer before him, and at 33, you reckon he would fancy another dance at the top one more time.

Chelsea is in pole position to sign Liam Delap.

After the Ipswich striker informed his club he only wants Chelsea, the Conference League champions are now the favourite to sign Liam Delap for a fee believed to be around £30m including add-ons.

Chelsea needs a figure up front, someone to put the ball in the back of the net after they struggled badly in the just-concluded season; with Viktor Gyökeres and Alexander Isak also under their radar, Chelsea may just have landed a bird in hand while chasing the rest in the bush.

Max Allegri replaces Conceição at Milan.

AC Milan has officially parted ways with Sergio Conceição after a turbulent season which culminated in a League Cup defeat at the hands of Bologna.

Former Juventus head coach Maxmiliano Allegri has been announced as the new man at AC Milan, and he is expected to be unveiled on Friday. Allegri will be tasked with the responsibility of returning the Rossoneri to Europe and competing for the title. He has done it with Juventus; can he do it again?

Liverpool duo to head to Saudi?

With Florian Wirtz mooted to join Liverpool this summer, the Saudi consortium is having conversations with the camps of Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz, with one of them expected to move.

Luis Diaz had a great season, but you cannot say the same for the Uruguayan, who must move this window or Liverpool risks losing him on the cheap if he doesn’t deliver in the upcoming season. Which of these forwards will Liverpool allow to leave this window?
