The international break is currently underway, and fortunately, it's the final one for the year. Meanwhile, let's take a look at some of the most recent headlines in the world of football. Here you go!

Madrid’s January transfers are inevitable.

Real Madrid suffered a bizarre injury crisis in their 4-0 win over Osasuna in their latest La Liga game, making it impossible for the club not to enter the transfer window for reinforcements in January.

Dani Carvajal copped ACL in September, but the Spaniard has been joined by Eder Militao in that regard, while Lucas Vazquez and Rodrigo are also injured. While the academy is expected to fill in till January, expect the Los Blancos to spend in January.

An Argentine club is under investigation for fielding an influencer.

Ivan Buhajeruk, popularly known as Spreen, started a top-flight game in the Argentine league for Deportivo Riestra in their 1-1 draw against Velez Sarsfield, with everyone seething from the decision to field the influencer.

The club registered the YouTube streamer two months ago, but he only began training with the first team last week. Despite playing for less than a minute and not even touching the ball, they decided to give him a start. The club has opened an investigation to determine whether high-profile betting is involved.

Is Arsenal out of the title race?

Arsenal's nine-point deficit in the Premier League after eleven games has led many to dismiss them from the title race, but is that the end for them?

Mikel Arteta is adamant that his club is still in the race and will be back stronger after the international break. If there’s ever a time for the Spaniard to prove that he has what it takes to take the Gunners to the promised land, this is it. Over to you, Mikel!

What do we expect from Ruben Amorim?

Newly appointed Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim will be in the dugout when the international window ends; what do we expect from him?

The former Sporting Lisbon man loves to play three at the back; does he have the material to do that at Old Trafford? He enjoys high-pressing and possession-based football. With how unaccountable United players can be in possession, what magic are we expecting from Amorim?

Is Ange in trouble at Spurs?

There’s so much to unpack from Tottenham’s 2-1 home loss to Ipswich on Sunday, but does the manager have questions to answer?

Ange Postecoglou led the league after ten games last season, winning the manager of the month for three straight months, and it’s been the opposite this time. It’s too early to press the panic button, but is the joke on Tottenham fans for expecting a miracle from their club despite their history?
