Manchester United Part Ways with Erik ten Hag; Ruud van Nistelrooy Steps In as Interim Coach

Manchester United have confirmed that Erik ten Hag has stepped down as the men’s first-team manager. 


Ten Hag, who joined United in April 2022, led the club to success with Carabao Cup and FA Cup victories in 2023 and 2024, respectively. 

The club expressed gratitude for his contributions and wished him well.

In the interim, United legend Ruud van Nistelrooy will take over as head coach, working alongside the existing coaching staff until a permanent replacement is appointed.
