As we dive deep into the transfer window, we look at some top deals, brewing rumors, and potential transfers from all around the world of football.

Manchester City bids £70 million for Paqueta

Manchester City has submitted a £70 million bid for West Ham midfielder Lucas Paqueta. The Brazilian was instrumental for the Hammers last season, an integral part of their Europa League conquest where they beat Fiorentina in the final. West Ham is expected to reject the offer, as they’d expect at least £10 million more to part ways with their man.

PSG signs Ramos on loan.

PSG can confirm the signing of Goncalo Ramos on loan from Benfica, with an obligation to buy the Portuguese striker. PSG is prepared to lose Kylian Mbappe this summer, and Neymar Jr. could also be leaving. Ramos will slot into the attack seamlessly, but PSG is also expected to lose Marco Verratti with Saudi Arabia lurking.

Arsenal rejects Monaco’s bid for Balogun.

Arsenal seems ready to sell American striker Folarin Balogun, but the Gunners will not accept any bid that doesn’t meet their valuation of the academy's talent. AS Monaco submitted a €40 million offer for the striker that spent last season on loan at Reims.

West Ham nears agreement for JWP

West Ham is close to agreeing terms with Southampton for James Ward Prowse, and the Hammers expect the England midfielder to join before the end of the week. Southampton expects the 28-year-old to play their championship game on Saturday, but that could be his last game for his boyhood club as the Hammers are set to sign him.

Arsenal agree on fees with Brentford for Raya

Brentford goalkeeper David Raya will join Arsenal on a permanent basis this week after both clubs agreed on a fee on Tuesday. The Spaniard has been under the radar of the Gunners for three years, and Arsenal will finally get their man in the coming days. Aaron Ramsdale will have quality competition in Spain as Matt Turner moves to Nottingham Forest.
