Al Hilal makes record €140m bid for Napoli's Osimhen. Ambitious Saudi club set sights on Super Eagles star striker, offered him £1m per week.
Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal has made a staggering €140 million offer to Napoli for striker Victor Osimhen, tempting the Nigerian with £1 million per week in wages.
Napoli, however, values the Serie A top scorer even higher, and a potential transfer hangs in the balance.
The ambitious Al Hilal has been making headlines this summer with their audacious moves for top talents like Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi.
While their €300 million bid for Mbappe was accepted, the French star declined to meet with the club.
Al Hilal is now turning their attention to Osimhen, hoping to secure another marquee signing.

Osimhen, aged 24, was previously a target for Manchester United, but talks over a new contract with Napoli have stalled.
Sky Italy reported that a meeting between Napoli and Osimhen's agent failed to find a resolution on extending his deal, which currently runs until 2025.
Despite Al Hilal's ambitious offers, Napoli is not willing to part ways with their star striker easily.
The club's president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, hinted at the possibility of a contract extension but admitted they would consider an irresistible offer.
Osimhen's performances last season were exceptional, with him finishing as the top scorer in Serie A as Napoli claimed the league title.
His impressive goal-scoring record has attracted interest from top clubs, making him a sought-after player in the transfer market.
Al Hilal has been busy strengthening their squad this summer, already securing Ruben Neves from Wolves, Kalidou Koulibaly from Chelsea, and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio.
