Tottenham Hotspur have announced the arrival of Celtic head coach Ange Postecoglou on a four-year deal following a better-forgotten season for the North Londoners.

Spurs endured a torrid season where they had three managers and ended up in eighth place on the log, missing out completely on European competitions altogether for the first time in over a decade.

Antonio Conte started the season but was dismissed, and his assistant, Christian Stellini, took over.

Stellini was fired after Newcastle hammered Spurs 6-1, and Ryan Mason took over.

It was a little too late as the team limped out of European places to finish behind the duo of Aston Villa and Brighton and Hove Albion on the log.
