 Rodrygo's Double Secures Real Madrid's Win Over Sevilla

In a thrilling penultimate game of the La Liga season, Real Madrid showcased their resilience by coming from behind to secure a 2-1 victory over Sevilla.

The star of the match was undoubtedly Rodrygo, who netted twice to ensure the win for the Madrid side.

Sevilla started the match on a high note, with Rafa Mir scoring the opening goal.

However, Rodrygo turned the tide in Real Madrid's favour with a perfectly placed free-kick and a brilliant solo goal.

The match saw Sevilla reduced to 10 men as Marcos Acuna was shown his fourth red card of the season for a reckless tackle on Dani Ceballos.

Despite the absence of fellow Brazilian Vinicius Junior, who was sidelined due to a knee injury, Rodrygo stepped up to the plate, proving his worth as the sole forward in Real Madrid's starting lineup.

The 22-year-old forward expressed his desire to score a hat trick, but Carlo Ancelotti substituted him in order to preserve the lead.

Sevilla, currently 10th in the table, rested some key players ahead of their Europa League final against Roma.

Despite the loss, they have a chance to end the season on a high note by winning a record-extending seventh Europa League title.

This victory leaves Real Madrid in second place with one game left in the season.

Barcelona, having clinched the title three rounds ago, watches on as the rest of the table battles it out in the season's final stages.

The victory serves as a testament to the depth and resilience of the squad as they look to finish the season on a high.
