The Blues blinked twice and saw Real Madrid both times; I'm sure their representative at the draw blinked once more and nothing changed, they will face the defending champions in the Champions League quarterfinals. To be the best, you have to beat the best. Your move, Chelsea!

The Blues’ affairs at Stamford Bridge on Saturday would be a tale of two healing teams.

One from the claws of relegation and the other from the jaws of indifference because of too many signings and too much money...Strange, right?

Everton looks like a team that will just barely avoid relegation. Their manager used to be at Burnley, so he knows how to keep his team from going down, but beating Chelsea could give them the boost they need.

The toffees can spring surprises here, but it will take a lot for that to happen.

On a weekend when many teams are away in the FA Cup, Chelsea and Everton can make a strong statement.

With Liverpool, Fulham, and Brighton not playing, Chelsea can finally leave the tenth position for the first time in a long time.

Everton could gain valuable points with a win that would steer them a little clear of the relegation zone, but it’s tight in that zone and it could come down to goals. Chelsea will be the favourites, but they can’t underrate the visitors.

Everton will set up to defend.

A point is fine for the visitors, but if Chelsea doesn’t win, they can kiss Europa League football for next season goodbye with just ten games left after their game against the Toffees; every point counts at this stage.

Watch out for Joao Felix; he was deployed upfront, and Kai Havertz played off him in the game against Leicester, and it worked.

That could be the way forward for Chelsea in terms of team selection.

Mhykalo Mudryk had fun in the game against the Foxes, guess he’s getting into his groove now.

Everton can rely on their long balls to unsettle Chelsea, and the whips of Dwight McNeil and Alex Iwobi can help too, but they have to pay attention to the vision of Enzo Fernandes and the trickery of Felix.

If both sides come to the party with their best, Chelsea should win comfortably.

Verdict: Straight win Chelsea
