It’s that time of the season where everyone monitors breaking news and player movements, we bring to you the peak of the bunch as team try to bolster their squad ahead of the new season.

Barcelona complete Kounde transfer

After a full summer of speculations, French center back Joules Kounde is finally on his way to his dreamland Barcelona after Sevilla and the former agreed a fee of £50m, that would rise to £65m under certain clauses.

Chelsea already agreed terms with Barcelona and was waiting for the player’s contingent to reply to their offers, the Stamford Bridge side will have to settle lots of scores with Barcelona after seeing another hijack happen right under their noses.

Ajax up Anthony fee under United’s interests

Ajax have made it clear that they don’t want to sell Brazilian winger Anthony and the Dutch side have now raised the fee for the player to a staggering £84m, the question is will Manchester United come up with the bid regardless?

The Red Devils have always been interested in the player all summer long and have been preparing a bid for a while now; Ajax took the fee from £64m to £84m to dissuade United but you won’t put anything past the premier league club, they spent £80m on Harry Maguire right?

Suarez returns home

After an illustrious career in Europe’s elite leagues, Uruguayan forward Luis Suarez has returned to Club Nacional and he’ll probably end his career at the club where it all started from for the sensational forward about two decades ago.

Suarez made his mark in Liverpool but that was after scoring tons of goals at Ajax in the Dutch Eredivisie. Suarez left Liverpool for Barcelona in a mammoth deal, won everything there was to win and moved to Atletico Madrid where he helped Diego Simeone’s side to the La Liga title.

Chelsea turn to Leicester’s Fofana

Chelsea have endured a torrid transfer season, seeing all their targets head elsewhere and now have to bully troubled Leicester City for a potential signing of French center back Wesley Fofana.

The defender was out for the best of last season with a devastating ACL injury and only returned at the tail end of the season. He signed a new deal afterwards and will cost £70m upwards if Chelsea would cart him away from the King Power Stadium.

Everton signs McNeil from Burnley

For a reported fee of £20m, Everton Football Club have signed Burnley winger Dwight McNeil and he becomes the second signing of the summer for Frank Lampard’s side.

McNeil relegated with Burnley last season but everyone knows there’s talent in there; Lampard has always admired the winger and would hope he delivers the quality of Richarlison that departed for Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the window.
