Lingard to choose MLS over Hammers?

Westham have high hopes of signing free agent and TikTok sensation Jesse Lingard but reports are that the former Manchester United midfielder would rather a move to the MLS.

Lingard enjoyed a sensational run at Westham in the second half of the 2020/2021 season but wasn’t allowed to return to the Hammers on a permanent contract last season even though he didn’t feature for the Old Trafford club regularly. Could he be headed for David Beckham’s LA?

Lenglet, Spence to join Spurs

Antonio Conte and Tottenham are getting ready for the new season and are showing intent to compete on all fronts with yet another defensive acquisitions and this time, they have secured Clement Lenglet on loan from Barcelona while also tying up deals for Djed Spence.

Spence was inspirational in the championship last season and was scouted by many top sides including Arsenal and Manchester United. Tottenham will complete the signing of the two and they will join Ivan Perisic, Richarlison, Dejan Kulusevski and Yves Bissouma as new signings at the club.

Luca Jovic set to join Fiorentina

There are certain deals you nurse high hopes for and just can’t explain how it doesn’t eventually pan out well, one of such is the trials of Serbian striker Luka Jovic at Real Madrid and that nightmarish run has now come to an end.

Fiorentina are already prepared to rescue Jovic from his Real Madrid pains after the striker only made 51 appearances in three years with most of that coming in cup games and as substitute. Fiorentina will sign Jovic on a two-year deal.

Chelsea to hijack De Jong deal?

Chelsea has proven to be struggling after the departure of their former director Marina Granovskaia with no signs of proper scouting as all the players they’re linked with are either offered to them or already scouted by other clubs and the latest is Manchester United target Frenkie De Jong.

Barcelona have been playing ping-pong with Manchester United over the Dutchman but reports on Thursday is that Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is prepared to hand the Nou Camp outfit the £75m they desire for De Jong and that will mean a hell of hot breakfast to United.
