It’s that time of the season where everyone monitors breaking news and player movements, we bring to you the peak of the bunch as team try to bolster their squad ahead of the new season.

Arsenal announce Jesus, target Tielemans

After long delays that sparked agitations among Arsenal fans, the Gunners have finally announced the signing of Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City for a reported fee of £45m.

Arsenal suffered from lack of proven goal scorers last season and were linked to a host of strikers earlier in the window including Darwin Nunez that has now signed for Liverpool. Arsenal are believed to also be in for Youri Tielemans and will do all they can to land him in the coming days.

Eriksen chooses Manchester United

Former Tottenham and Inter Milan midfielder Christian Eriksen has verbally agreed to a deal to join Manchester United after leaving Brentford at the end of the season.

Eriksen has offers from many teams, including the Brentford he left, his former side Spurs, Everton, Aston Villa and some teams outside England. Eriksen survived a heart problem to return to football in January and has been a big hit since then.

City unveil Phillips

Manchester City continued their great transfer window with the completion of a deal for Leeds United midfield enforcer Kalvin Phillips in a deal estimated at £45m for a period of six years and the new boy will wear the heavy Vincent Kompany shirt.

Jersey number 4 wouldn’t be too big for a player that already attended a major tournament with England as a regular and was greatly missed last season when he was injured at Leeds. He was one of the reasons they struggled and faced relegation.

Young dares old age with Villa extension

Ashley Young has extended his contract at Aston Villa for another year following the expiration of his existing one after joining from Inter Milan last season.

Young started his career at Villa and had a stellar era before his mega move to Manchester United where he won the premier league twice under Sir Alex Ferguson. He was pushed and shoved around before linking up with Antonio Conte at Inter and now he’s set to end his career at Villa.

Zaniolo to Juventus?

We understand every Italian player wants to play for Juventus but is it time for them to turn to AS Roma wonder boy Nicolo Zaniolo?

Juventus already handed the jersey number 7 to Federico Chiesa and as he returns from injury, he would be raring to go but could he be joined by Zaniolo?
