Chelsea has been drawn fully into the top four dogfights and they must respond after they were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Wolves on Saturday and Arsenal beat Leeds United the next day.

Speaking of Leeds United, Jesse Marsch’s side is in trouble, they self-destructed at the Emirates and that sort of embarrassment must be avoided for the future but how much time do they have to correct things and survive the drop?

In Chelsea’s late concession against Wolves over the weekend, it was clear that the club already signed off on the season and would only be preparing for the Cup Final against Liverpool, does this hand Leeds United some level of an advantage here?

Leeds stand-in captain Luke Ayling was sent off for a schoolboy tackle on Arsenal’s Gabrielle Martinelli; Lee Cooper might be available and there would be a late assessment for Patrick Bamford, Leeds can use everyone and anyone they can get at this time.

Chelsea stands the risk of finishing the season with only their early-season successes, the club might actually miss out on the third spot but it would take the most unfortunate situation to see them drop out of the top four completely but first, they have to take care of Leeds United.

Leeds will attack relentlessly as always, they’re not the most disciplined side so you might want to invest in bookings but it will be their last chance to beat a top-six side this season having lost to all of them all season long.

A goalless draw early last year remains the only positive result Leeds United has had against Chelsea in the last decade, it will be a top statement for the men in White to upset the Blues and move out of the drop zone at least until the other two teams in the mix play.

Chelsea can win this one and end speculations around their top-four finish with Arsenal and Spurs facing each other at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium; both sides have it all to play for but don’t put your money on a Chelsea win.
