Manchester United has parted ways with manager Ruben Amorim after another uninspiring performance at Elland Road on Sunday.

Manchester United had several opportunities to move into the top four but consistently passed them up; the 1-1 draw at Leeds United on Sunday proved fatal, as the club hierarchy has now shown the Portuguese manager the exit door.

From a stubborn style of play to a lack of real development in players, Ruben Amorim's time at Old Trafford has been characterised by uncertainties, leading the club board to decide on the position of the former Porto coach.

Amorim joins Nuno Espirito Santo, who was fired by Nottingham Forest; Graham Potter, who was fired by West Ham; Ange Postecoglou, who was fired by Forest again; and Vitor Pereira, who was laid off by Wolves.
