Super Eagles camp heats up as Ademola Lookman arrives ahead of crucial World cup qualifying play-offs against Ghana

Ademola Lookman lands in camp! Remember him? The Leicester City winger who recently switched nationalities to represent his native nation has just landed in the Super Eagles camp ahead of the winner takes all World Cup qualifiers against Ghana.

The Super Eagles camp is buzzing with a full squad in town.

Akinkunmi Amoo who got his maiden call up to the national team arrived on Tuesday, joining the likes of Napoli hot shot, Victor Osimhen, Watford striker Emmanuel Denis and Kelechi Iheanacho.

The camp is bubbly with confidence high in the ranks.

The two legged affair will produce one of Africa’s five flag bearers at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

Chief Coach Austin Eguavoen knows the task at hand and considering the fact that both sides had an underwhelming AFCON, it’s now or never to make that statement.

Captain Ahmed Musa was quite vocal at the pre-match interview, he’s very well aware that this goes beyond football.

It’s all encompassing from food (Ghana Jollof vs Naija Jollof), to Music (Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy vs Sarkodie and Co), politics and even movies.

The first leg takes place on Friday March 25th in Kumasi while Nigeria will host the second leg in Abuja next week Tuesday.
