Stubborn Chelsea submit bid number 3 for Lukaku
What do you say to a stubborn ex? Well Chelsea have no intention of backing off as we can confirm a bid of £130m by the champions of Europe for their former player Romelu Lukaku.
The big Belgian wasn’t really appreciated as a Chelsea player, shipped here and there on loan before being sold to Everton, now they want to pay through their noses to return him to Stamford Bridge and considering how poor things are financially in Italy, Inter would be stupid not to sell.
Xhaka signs a new four year deal at Arsenal
Granit Xhaka has signed a new and improved four-year deal to keep him at Arsenal till 2026, bringing to an end speculations surrounding his future with AS Roma submitting bids that Arsenal considered to be below his true evaluation.
Xhaka was stripped of the captain’s armband two years ago after an incident with the fans in Arsenal’s 3-2 loss to Crystal Palace but since Mikel Arteta came on board, he has regained trust and will be an Arsenal player at least for now.
Fabinho extends with Liverpool
Liverpool need at least a new body in the middle but what they have done for now is to make sure one of their best legs stay, and Brazilian utility player Fabinho has committed his future to the Kops project by signing a new long term deal.
Fabinho joined from Monaco in 2018 and has since established himself as a force in the Liverpool team, a part of the men that won the champions league in 2019 and landed the league title last summer, Fabinho will be ready for the new season after returning from his extended break.
Kane’s daily dose? City ready to go £130m for him
Manchester City are willing to pay as much as £130m for Harry Kane if Spurs are ready to deal.
News outlets have been buzzing all morning with a feeler from the Etihad that should Daniel Levy be willing to lower his expectation for the soon to be 29-year-old striker, they will pounce.
Kane hasn’t reported to training as at the time of filing this which will make it the third day running and with the handwriting quite clear on the wall that he’s not going to stay, Spurs might just take the money and invest in a replacement on time.
Laporte wants out…
Manchester City’s Aymeric Laporte wants out of the Etihad Stadium after falling behind the duo of Ruben Dias and John Stones and he has made it clear that he wants to return to Spain in the current window.
Laporte is being tracked by Real Madrid and Barcelona, the two Spanish giants have defensive needs after Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos left Real Madrid and Barcelona also seeing the back of Samuel Umtiti and Gerrard Pique.
