We’ll update the list from time to time as news emerge from leading transfer news outlets across the world of football

Spurs rejected by Fonseca, no Gattuso

It’s no longer news that former As Roma manager Fonseca walked out of the Tottenham Hotspur job due to tax differences, his former agency had a waiver for taxes but that can’t happen in England hence the dissolution of their agreements;

However, news had it on Thursday that AC Milan legend Genarro Gattuso would replace Fonseca after the former left Fiorentina without even managing a game, but we can report that Spurs will not be hiring Gatusso as events didn’t go according to plan. Expect more from that.

Atletico wants around $50m for Trippier

Manchester United are shopping for a new right back after unsatisfactory forward runs of Aaron Wan Bissaka and their top target Kieran Trippier is available for sale but at a cost.

Atletico are willing to sanction the sale of the former Tottenham Hotspur defender but not for anything less than the 43m GBP that he has on his release clause, while the La Liga winner won’t mind a move to Old Trafford, his price tag might be an hinderance to the move.

Atletico are known to respect release clauses and hardly bulge on that, good luck to United on that.

Ashley Young returns to Aston Villa

Ashley Young pulled a Wijnaldum on Burnley as he moved from Inter Milan to Villa Park having agreed personal terms with the Clarets at the weekend.

Aston Villa was home to the former England winger and he has now rejoined his boyhood club on a free transfer from Inter Milan where he won the league title in May.

Young joins Dean Smith’s side on an initial one year deal with an option of another year based on performances.

Tearful Ramos heads to premier league?

Sergio Ramos has left Real Madrid, the ship has sailed and the super hero now has to move on from the club he served for 16 years, the question is: Where does the lion of Madrid go from here?

While Ramos insists the offer was withdrawn by Real Madrid as he was about to sign, leaving bad blood and disappointment in the air to deal with, but words on the street have it that Ramos is on his way to the premier league and close sources say he could be on his way to the Etihad… we’ll see!

Depay to Barcelona almost done

He is currently lighting up the European Championship, but Ronald Koeman has confirmed to Sky Sports that Memphis Depay will join Barcelona after the tournament.

Depay was part of the Lyon side that narrowly missed out on champions league football and he ran down his contract, making it further hard for Lyon to deal with their financial challenges.

A host of players are on their way out of Lyon and Houssem Aouar is another name heading for the exit door.
