Manchester City submit £100m bid for Harry Kane but Tottenham will reportedly reject the offer despite City's willingness to include players

Manchester City have submitted an initial offer of £100m for Tottenham striker Harry Kane.

City are willing to discuss a players-plus-money deal but Spurs are not ready to listen to any offers for their star striker, who has stated his desire to leave the club this summer.

The England captain is thought to be completely focused on the European championship, with no decision on his club future expected until after the tournament is finished.

Despite the 27-year-old feeling he has a gentleman's agreement with Daniel Levy, Kane is valued at upwards of £120 million, and Tottenham are keen to keep him.

Kane has suggested that City is his favourite destination, describing Kevin De Bruyne as the Premier League player with whom he would most like to play.

“Some of the balls I see him put in for City are just a striker’s dream,” Kane said last month.
