France attacker Ousmane Dembele has been ruled of the rest of Euro 2-2- after picking up a knee injury.
The Barcelona forward was introduced as a second-half substitute and played only 30 minutes before he was placed picked up the injury in his team's 1-1 draw against Hungary on Saturday.
"Ousmane Dembele had an X-ray at the Budapest hospital on Sunday night," the French Football Federation said in a statement on Monday.
"The recovery time is incompatible with him staying in the squad."
The World Champions France will face European champions Portugal in their final group match on Wednesday.
Didier Deschamps' side are currently topping Group F with four points after two matches, one ahead of Germany in second place and third-place Portugal.
