We’ll update the list from time to time as news emerge from leading transfer news outlets across the world of football
Kane wants out, Levy slams 150m on him
It’s the worst kept secret that Harry Kane wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer, breaking a tie that has seen him represent the North London side for seven seasons.
Harry Kane, 27 and still with lots of potential but probably with one major move away from being overlooked, has told Spurs he won’t be signing a new deal and as expected, Spurs Chairman, Daniel Levy has slapped a 150m price tag on him.
Manchester United need a striker in the mold of Kane, Manchester City need a replacement for Sergio Aguero, Barcelona and Real Madrid could be options as well as PSG should Kylian Mbappe leave.
David Luiz will leave Arsenal
Another player across North London has indicated that he won’t be representing Arsenal next season, David Luiz signed from Chelsea for 5m and extended as forced by the pandemic challenges last summer but there’s no chance he will stay at Arsenal.
There’s mixed feelings at Arsenal about that as his five own goals and six red cards in two years won’t let most fans cry for him and to further gladden the hearts of Arsenal fans, it’s been rumored that Willian has also asked to leave with the MLS in his sights… Happy times right?
Frank Lampard to Crystal Palace nears completion
Chelsea legend and former first team head coach Frank Lampard has moved inches closer of being named as the long term successor to Roy Hodgson at Crystal Palace.
Roy Hodgson’s contract expires in the summer and the ageing manager has hinted that he won’t be renewing, leaving room for the Selhurst Park outfit to interview potential successors including the man that took Chelsea to last season’s FA Cup final which they lost to Arsenal.
Frank Lampard will need the job to rebuild his CV after it was tainted by the sacking at Chelsea in January.
Manchester City consider big risk on Lionel Messi
Lionel Messi will not be lifting the La Liga title this season after laboring in vain at home against Celta Vigo, and that leaves the Barcelona legend with a decision to make in the summer with his contract at Barcelona winding down.
Messi tried to push for a move away from Barcelona last summer, leading to a league trial and lots of controversy across the footballing world, his decision to stay was forced and he can leave on a free come the end of the season; Manchester City however are throwing their hat in the ring for the magician.
News from the Etihad says Manchester City want to offer Messi a one year deal to see him try his magic in England, big money for a big player won’t surprise anyone.
David Alaba to Real Madrid is as good as done!
ESPN and Sky Sports are reporting that Austrian utility player David Alaba has signed his pre contract agreements with Real Madrid and the deal will be made public at the end of the season when his contract with Bayern Munich expires.
The news confirms that Alaba will sign for three years with an option of another year, bringing a wealth of experience and his versatility to Real Madrid.
With the future of Zinedane Zidane uncertain and the duo of Marcelo and Ferland Mendy waiting in the wings, the fans can expect something different from the Bayern Munich player
