Chelsea launch robust bid for Sancho

Figures aren’t disclosed as at now but Footballnus.com can confirm that Champions League finalists Chelsea have submitted a rich bid for Borussia Dortmund winger Jordan Sancho.

Manchester United spent the whole of last season chasing the former Manchester City academy graduate to no fruition and with Chelsea’s attack lacking real potency, a huge statement has been made with a bid for Sancho which from all reporting quarters is enough to do the trick and one must ask what this means for the likes of Kai Havertz, Callum Hudson Odoi and Hakim Ziyech.

The Frenchman joined La Liga giants Barcelona in very controversial circumstances but have failed to nail strong performances and the Catalan side will be willing to do without him as early as the coming summer as he hasn’t been able to fit their style.

Atletico will have to pay through their noses for the forward, they are on the brink of the title, which might aid their finances.
