We’ll update the list from time to time as news emerge
from leading transfer news outlets across the world of football
Manchester United turn to Danny Ings in place of Harry Kane
Just yesterday we reported that the presence Erling Braut
Haaland in the summer window could damage the chances of Harry Kane moving to
his preferred destination and right today in the news, Manchester United are
already looking elsewhere.
ESPN is reporting that Manchester United are already considering a cheaper alternative to Harry Kane and you can’t blame them, 150m isn’t easy in a pandemic season and the same home grown quota can be filled by Southampton striker Danny Ings.
Barcelona finalizing details for Aguero
It’s eventually going to happen, Sergio Aguero will join
Barcelona, it’s no longer a matter of if but when and we have to ask certain
Barcelona ditched Luiz Suarez and for cheap too on the ground that he’s aged, same Suarez is about to lead Atletico Madrid to the title and guess what? Barcelona are about to get a 32 year old to replace Aguero as the Braithwait agenda as well as Griezmann’s has failed woefully, what an interesting irony there.
Boubakary Soumare to Leicester City all but confirmed
Lille midfield enforcer Boubakary Soumare is on his way to
Leicester City after the FA Cup winners agreed a 15m deal for the Malian.
According to L’equip and Fabrizio Romano, the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal looked at the Lille midfielder but Leicester meant business and poached him right under their noses, this brings us to the interesting fact that Lille will be champions but they will experience the Monaco hurricane with players exodus.
Alvaro Morata to Barcelona?
Sergio Aguero will join Barcelona, that seems settled but news
breaking out of Marca this morning says Barcelona are in talks with Juventus to
sign one of their former rivals’ player Alvaro Morata.
The journey man has been to the Serie A twice, he was at Chelsea
where he was highly maligned by fans and was at Atletico Madrid last season,
Barcelona’s shambolic season and the uncertainty around Lionel Messi’s contract
means they have to get busy in the window but Morata?
The La Roja striker is still quite young at 26 and still have lots to prove but his numbers especially in recent seasons do not justify the interest in him.
Everton slams €45m on Moise
Everton are prepared to let Moise Kean leave this summer but for a
sizable amount of money and considering PSG’s interest in him and the fact they’re
not poor, they might pay the money.
Moise Kean joined Everton from PSG but failed to make significant
impact and the arrival of fellow Italian Carlo Ancelotti didn’t make much
difference as he was shipped to France but he has scored 17 goals so far this
season and fits the profile the Parisien club desire.
Moise Kean to PSG means the Capital club might ditch Mauro Icardi
who hasn’t impressed since joining from Inter Milan.
