Liverpool midfielder Wijnaldum is heading to Barcelona this summer as he has reportedly signed a pre-contract deal with the Spanish giant
Georginio Wijnaldum has decided to leave Liverpool at the end of the season to join Barcelona.
The Netherlands midfielder has agreed to a pre-contract deal to become Joan Laporta's first signing as he begins his second reign as the President of the Catalan club, according to The Sunday Times.
Wijnaldum will be out of contract in the summer, so he will be joining the Spanish giants for free.
Ronald Koeman has made his countryman has his main target since he became Barcelona head coach last August, but the club's financial situation did not allow the Catalan to make a move last summer.
The signing of the 30-year old will be a show of support for Koeman by the new president.
